OpenID.net.nz OpenID.net.nz

We created an identity providing service that offers free OpenID identities for anyone. If you don't have an OpenID yet, you can sign up for one at OpenID.net.nz.

One of our goals is to spread the information about OpenID technology and make New Zealand "OpenID enabled". We believe that we could all benefit by using a simple, decentralized single sign-on on the Internet. Therefore we created and run the OpenID.co.nz website which we want to use to popularize OpenID in New Zealand.

Both websites are based on Django framework. OpenID.net.nz uses OpenID 2.x.x Python library from JanRain.

MobileDataNow mobiledatanow.com

Mobile Data Now is a start-up, based in Christchurch, New Zealand. It gives you two-way mobile access to your company databases and webservices and combines a smooth, easy to use browser interface and smart usable setup and management workflow.

The application itself has not been released for general public, yet. However, you can subscribe yourself at the mobiledatanow.com and be first to find out when it is officially released.

We created the website for MobileDataNow Ltd which is based on the Drupal CMS framework.

BroadbandMechanics www.peopleaggregator.net

PeopleAggregator is a web2.0 project that helps you create and run your own social network. It is a place to create and run your own social network.

We started work on PeopleAggregator just recently. We're creating performance regression testing suite for the application and also doing the application and the database performance tuning itself.

Firetrust Ltd www.firetrust.com

Firetrust Ltd creates easy-to-use email security and anti-spam solutions for business and homes users. Their products provide the benefits of effective, high quality inbox efficiency and protection.

Encode Ltd under the banner of Egressive Ltd created a new backend system for Firetrust Ltd. It is a custom PHP based solution that uses PEAR Installer for the product deployment.

That was back in 2005.

In a recent history (2007) we've created new versions of their websites www.firetrust.com and www.mailwasher.net.

They're both based on Drupal CMS framework.

We've done full customization of Drupal, internationalization to three other languages and created three custom modules. One of them is the custom shopping cart.

New Zealand Tourism Online www.tourism.net.nz

Leading tourism website in New Zealand. When it comes to organizing your trip, looking for an accommodation, attrations, tourist information, this website has the answers for you.

Our work on the new engine for New Zealand Tourism Online (NZTO) started in March 2006. First release of the new version was a year after that. It was a definitely small step for a mankind but a big one for NZTO.

Along with the new version, interactive maps were added and we're working on more and more features to release this year. So stay in touch with us.

Encode Ltd provides web development, maintanance and consultancy services to NZTO and also closely works closely together with the dedicated NZTO web site team.

OpenStrategies Ltd www.openstrategies.org

We have been involved in various stages of the development of this product, working at different times under the banners of Technology Link Ltd, OpenStrategies Ltd, Egressive Ltd and Encode Ltd.

The site is built using PHP4, XML and XSLT technologies and members our team were working on the code under the banner of Egressive Ltd.

Later on, Encode Ltd has been responsible for providing consultancy on IT matters related to the development and distribution of this product.

PartsquipDirect Ltd www.partsquipdirect.com

We created a custom based PHP trading application for PartsquipDirect a year and a half ago.

The site was deployed using PEAR Installer and developed using PHP, XML and XSLT technologies.

We haven't continued the developent of the application after initial stage, though.

Site is currently runnig on Drupal platform and it isn't developed and maintained by Encode Ltd anymore.

Plains FM plainsfm.org.nz

Plains FM / Te Reo Irirangi O Te Maania ("The voices (languages) in the air over the plains") is a Christchurch based community radio station.

We produced a new design and built the whole website by using our PHP code base, enriched by throwing in a bit of AJAX magic and having radio's playlist "on-air" straight on the Internet.

The website, amongst other things, also contains lots of programmes available via RSS feed in a mp3 format. So if you're a podcast listener, have a look at the Plains FM Podcasts page and point you podcatched to some interesting podcasts they have there.

Prophoto Ltd prophoto.co.nz

Prophoto specialises in photographing school balls and formals.

The site was designed by Zype Ltd and the programming under the banner of Egressive Ltd. Both companies are members of Christchruch based Effusion Group.

Solution is based on Zen-Cart project. It was customized and redesigned to meet customer's requirements. Also creation of additional custom module for Zen-Cart was part of the project.

Project was finished in 2004.
